Our Team

This is my fourth year teaching at Lake Region Middle School. I have a Social Science degree as well as an M.Ed in Teaching and Learning with a concentration in History. I am excited to move forward as a founding teacher of our Causeway Academy for this school year. I enjoy sports, movies, and anything that is outdoors. I can't wait to dive into Causeway Academy and make a difference this year! 

This is my second year of teaching, and I am so excited to be a part of our new alternative education program. I have a degree in Marine Biology, and have worked in many different settings including working with children with special needs, and as a veterinary technician. Nature and animals are my passion and I hope that we can make school more fun by incorporating these things and our students interests into our curriculum. 

This is my third year as part of the Laker community, and I am privileged to be helping support our new Causeway Academy. As a social worker, I will be able to offer social-emotional support to our students as well as an additional bridge between parents and students. My door is always open for mental health support or just a space to talk!
