Hola Amazing Students!
Congratulations for working so hard and working through these difficult times. We will continue working on our Spanish-speaking country research project. You should all have a copy of the infographic document from class. If you don't have
it ,here is the information you need to find:
Dear Students,
Hope you are all well ! You should all have either picked up your folder at school or received a packet in the mail. You will find the house vocabulary to use to complete your labeled drawing of your dream house. Also are all the flags and capitals of all the Spanish speaking countries, separate them ( they will be the size of an index card, see picture). After you have separated them, color the flags and write 3 facts about each country on the back that you find interesting. You can read about each country on the https://www.ducksters.com/geography/ ducksters site, click on geography, continent and country name. If you would please begin with Spain, Peru, Argentina and Puerto Rico. I will laminate them for you when we get back to school.
You will also find a copy of the current Unit 2 from the textbook and your workbook. This unit focuses on Kai and Alana's trip from Hawaii to South America, they have visited Peru and are now in Argentina. Topics include rooms in a house, places in the town and the jobs of people who work there and the final section is about clothing and colors. Work at your own pace. I have made a Quizlet vocabulary set for you to use to familiarize yourself with the first section.
