Thanks for a great 2019-2020 School Year! Miss you!
Greetings!
I have enjoyed getting to teach art classes this year! I volunteered and worked for Art of the Edge in CDA for a few summers and it has been fun getting to teach art more this year.
I've always enjoyed playing around with arts and crafts, jewelry, beading, pottery, sewing, yarn, digital art, design, woodwork, and DYI projects. My dad builds houses, draws, and sculpts. My mom is a professional jeweler, potter, glass artist, sculptor, and metal artist. My husband teaches technology at Garwood, but also is a professional Improv Performer and published comic book artist and poet. I hope I have inspired some of my art students to find an art form to express themselves.
Normally, each class comes to one Art Class once a week for a 35 minutes. We have learned some art fundamentals and made some fun art projects this year.
I miss my wonderful students and our normal 35 minute art class. I can't wait until we can make art together once more! For now, I hope your child can use the resources located on this page, my Clever page, and my Google Classrooms. Anything with password access will be located in Google Classroom. Students can also communicate with me through Google Classroom, so please make sure they have joined my Google Classrooms. I invited them, so they should just have to select "join" when they are logged into Google Classroom (which they can access through Clever). If they have issues joining, please email me for their classroom code. Also, email me if you have any questions about any of these resources or your child's art education. Thank you for supporting your child's art education even more than normal right now.
Creatively,
Mrs. Lindsay Hutson
