STARBASE Program for 5th Grade

I’m excited to share that our 5th grade class will be participating in the Department of Defense’s STARBASE program at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst!

STARBASE is a hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) program designed to inspire students to explore and enjoy learning in these fields. Taught by certified instructors, students take part in exciting experiments, technology challenges, and real-world problem solving. They’ll also learn about STEM-related careers and get a behind-the-scenes look at life and work on a military base.

Our class will receive 25 hours of STEM instruction over five weeks, attending every Wednesday from September 17th through October 15th.

This will be an amazing opportunity for students to see how STEM skills are used in the real world—and have a lot of fun along the way!
