I strongly believe that in order to have a successful school year, we all must respect one another, and treat each other with kindness. Each child should feel safe when they walk in our classroom door, and know that they are accepted for who they are. We participate in a "responsive classroom", where we do morning meeting daily, and the children will greet one another, as well as socialize before our day begins.
