Welcome from the 5th Grade Team

We would like to welcome you all to the 2020- 2021 school year!

This year we will be embarking on a new academic journey together-- a journey along the Virtual Instructional Highway. The roads on this journey may be smooth and some might be a little bumpy, but by collectively working together as a team -- students, parents and teachers, all roads will lead to success in the end. The fifth grade instructional leaders are committed to providing our students with the necessary skills and support in order to attain their academic goals.

Fifth grade is a very crucial year in a student’s academic journey. It is a year full of important transitions and as well as new experiences for students as they prepare for middle school. Our goal as always is to help guide our Eagles to become more independent, focused thinkers. We also want to help them to develop a growth mindset. These skills will be vital in helping our students not only in fifth grade, but throughout his or her academic journey.

We firmly believe our students can reach this year’s academic goals and exemplify the characteristics of a true “Lake Forest Eagle” especially during these challenging times we now face.
