Meet Natalie, a journalist for The Pointe. As a journalist, Natalie contributes by writing stories and doing the school news in the morning. She tries her hardest to make sure that she does good work. She comes up with new ideas everyday. Natalie is a really big sports person. But her favorite sport is Hockey. She usually dedicates her projects to hockey. It doesn’t matter what team or what time the game is, she is willing to watch it. If she isn’t doing her work, then she is probably watching hockey highlights.

Meet Jubilee, a talkative writer in our pointe news staff. As a writer and hopeful school sports photographer, she emboldens the architecture of each paragraph of every article, ensuring you're not bored reading the pointe’s news but enjoying reading it. Beyond school and writing you’ll probably find her listening to Luke Bryan, napping, or eating Whether she’s jamming out to country or speed typing an assignment,  she is a great part of our staff.

Meet Aiden, he is creative and enthusiastic toward the team, he always causes laughter and enjoyment to the team. He loves writing about sports and being a part of the journalism progam and making everyone smile. His hobbies include video games! 

Meet Leila, she loves to write stories and reading, some of her hobbies are swimming, shopping, and watching movies.In the Pointe  Leila likes to do photography and do essays. Her favorite part in The Pointe is the argumentative pieces.

Meet Emma: who has a very random, and interesting personality. Emma has a huge obsession with sharks and the ocean. She dreams of one day studying Marine Biology at a major university Emma is very involved here at LPA. Aside from The Pointe, she is a Concert Band Ambassador and plays the clarinet. She is also in P.A.W club, and a Cheerleader. She is dedicated, fun and lights up a room. 

Meet E’sanii, one of the many skilled writers of The Pointe. Her job is to write stories that will engage viewers and give common knowledge to all who read. Out of the writing field, E’sanii occasionally finds random facts and games that catch her interest, along with music. Or somehow, she gained a new nickname. Whether she writes or hears the stories, it's always pleasant.

Meet Aaron: He contributes his time, his knowledge, and perseverance to the team. He was inspired by the cnn 10 and wanted to be like them back in Mr. Krugs 4th period. He also has a dream to be a chef and has a flair for the culinary arts. In his free time he likes to cook and play video games. 

Meet Jasmin a young individual, that always has been captivated by the power of words and how they can be used to shape one’s opinion. She was born with curiosity for storytelling when she found journalism class Jasmin was excited to use her thoughts and words to shape younglings minds and to give a voice to the unheard voices.

Meet Maria! She has a passion for music and loves listening to her favorite tunes whenever she gets the chance. Maria also has a big interest in journalism, where she enjoys exploring new stories and ideas. On top of that, she never leaves home without her trusty makeup bag, always ready to add a touch of creativity to her look.

Meet Mia! The Picasso of The Pointe. As creative visionary, her job is to bring Benny to life with Bizarre Adventures with Benny the Bystander. As a frog enthusiast, lover of music and nerdy musical art lover, she shines within the art field, almost always having a pencil in hand ready to make art. 

Meet Jose aka JJ! He is a bold and lively journalist-in-the-making who’s all about Takis, Hot Cheetos, Dr. Pepper, and chasing the spotlight. With his big personality and love for being on camera, he’s ready to make waves in the news world and keep everyone in the know. 

Ms. Otero serves as The Pointes' Staff Advisor, guiding students in journalism with passion and dedication. Outside the classroom, she enjoys diving into a good book, going to Disney, solving puzzles, and conquering escape rooms. Her love for teaching and creativity inspires students to think critically, communicate effectively, and chase their dreams.
