How did we get here?

A brief history

Every five years, schools must complete a Building Condition Survey. Using this survey, we prioritized the items in the survey that would fail within 15 years and/or increase the safety and security of our students and staff. That list of items, along with items that are mandated due to changing building codes, were set as priority number one and are almost the entirety of the building project proposal.

Desperately needed boiler replacement is the largest cost item of this project.

Here we are today

At this time, the much needed scope of the project has been approved by the Board of Education and is scheduled to go out for a public vote on December 13, 2022 from 1:00-9:00 pm in the school cafeteria. The project's total cost is not to exceed $10.3 million and will have ZERO impact on taxes.
