I'm an improviser, director, and theatremaker from Mendoza, Argentina, now based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland, New Zealand).
For over 15 years I've performed, directed, and taught improv theatre across different countries and cultures. My work explores how improvisation can become a shared language — one that connects performers from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds through play, presence, and unscripted storytelling.
I'm drawn to the intersection of structure and spontaneity. Improv is often associated with speed and comedy, but its real power lies in emotional depth, theatrical craft, and the ability to create genuine connection in the room — between performers, and between performers and their audiences.
Many of my projects are rooted in multilingual environments, cultural traditions, and collaborative storytelling. Whether through intimate narrative formats or high-energy ensemble shows, my work explores what happens when performers bring their whole selves — and their whole histories — to the stage.
Alongside my work as a performer and teacher, I’ve been involved in creating projects that support improv communities and international collaboration.
I'm the co-founder of Mabel Impro, the first Spanish-speaking improv group in Australasia, the co-founder of the Auckland Improv Festival, and the founder of the Auckland Improv Marathon. I'm also a regular performer and associate producer at the Covert Theatre.
As co-founder and board member of Laenye Productions, I help lead a platform dedicated to celebrating Spanish-speaking artists and nurturing connections between Latin American culture and the performing arts community in Aotearoa.
These projects aim to create spaces where performers from different cultures and artistic backgrounds can meet, experiment, and develop new work together.
Over the years I've had the opportunity to perform and teach at festivals and theatres across three continents — including the New Zealand Improv Festival, ITS Comedy Festival (Sydney), Now Improv Festival (Beijing), festivals in Spain, Hungary, Italy, Denmark, Japan, and community-led initiatives across Europe, Australasia and Latin America.
Working across these different cultures has deeply shaped how I approach improv — reinforcing the belief that creativity thrives when artists bring their diverse perspectives to the stage, and that the best ensemble work happens when difference is celebrated rather than smoothed over.
I’m always interested in collaborating with theatres, festivals, ensembles, and creative communities.
