My name is Jasmine Peterson. This will be my 8th year in education, and I have been so lucky to spend all 8 years with the Reed community! This will be my 4th year as a school counselor as I have spent my last 4 years in education as a classroom teacher at Reed. I have taught 1st grade as a long-term substitute, 3rd grade for two years, and 2nd grade for one year.
While I spend my time during the week as a school counselor, on the weeknights I spend my time as a professional counselor and I work for a private practice called Changes Therapeutics in Saint Louis, MO. For private practice, I conduct child play therapy (ages 5-12), youth (13-17), adult-individual counseling (ages 18 and up), group counseling, trauma-informed counseling, and grief counseling.
To kick back and relax, I enjoy hiking, Netflix, traveling, hot yoga, and spending time with my family!
