We are excited to announce a new name for the School District of La Crosse's Middle School show choir program...River City Rising!  With our new name comes some other exciting changes this year as we merge our program with the High School to create a more streamlined district show choir program.  This merger will provide SDLAX students with a more consistent experience for the entirety of their involvement in the show choir program.  We are excited to build a partnership with the high school students, directors, and parent organization to offer more opportunities for our middle school students to shine!

River City Rising (RCR) features 6th-8th grade students from Logan, Longfellow, Polytechnic, and SOTA II in La Crosse, Wisconsin.  RCR consists of two groups, Alpha and Omega.  The Omega group provides an introductory show choir experience and the Alpha group prepares students for competitive high school show choir.  Both have numerous performance opportunities during the season including local showcase performances, competitions, and tours of the elementary schools.  We are excited for another season of singing and dancing with your students!
