Dinosaurs at Dusk (Dino #2)
All ages welcome, kid-focused
Fri, May 8, 2026 5:15 pm-6:30 pm
Sat, May 9, 2026 9:15 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
The first half of the show is a look at what you can see in the sky tonight, combined with an explanation of the motions of the Earth that cause seasons. For the second half, sit back for a full dome movie experience.
Dinosaurs at Dusk is a whirlwind time travel adventure back to the epoch of the Dinosaurs. Propel yourself back through time to explore an Earth teeming with Pterosaurs and ancestors of modern-day birds: the feathered Dinosaurs!
Lucy and her father fly through the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous to soar with Quetzalcoatlus, escape from raptors, and ride behind Argentinosaurus while searching for clues to the origins of flight. When time runs out, they experience first-hand the cataclysmic “last day” of the dinosaurs. The combination of all that activity with those gorgeous full-dome vistas makes this the most kinetic planetarium film ever produced.

$7 Adults
There is a donation box on site. Any additional help will go back into programming for future shows. Thanks!

Ever wonder what it would be like to fly to Mars? “Destination Mars: The New Frontier” gives audiences a close-up look at the work being done globally to make the dream of getting humans to Mars a reality. Fly through the International Space Station, explore the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, and learn about the rockets and vehicles that will return humans to the Moon and, one day, on to Mars.
Produced by the Museum of Science in partnership with NASA, with narrators who include the first African American woman in space Dr. Mae Jemison.
