Financial Aid
FAFSA: You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to be eligible for many grants, loans, and scholarships. The first step is to create your FSA ID (Account/Login), which takes 1-3 days to process. Your contributing parent(s) must create an FSA ID as well. The application to receive aid in the 25-26 school year is expected to open on December 1st.
WCG for Apprenticeships: Paid, on-the-job training
College Bound Scholarship: If you were eligible and applied in middle school, you must complete the FAFSA to receive these funds. If you are not sure whether you applied, ask Ms. Johnson.

La Center Community Scholarships: 10-20 scholarships from community organizations/donors will be offered exclusively to LCHS Students. The application will be available in Student Services soon and is due in mid-April.

WUE (Western Undergraduate Exchange): Agreement between public colleges/universities in the Western U.S. for reduced tuition as an out-of-state student.

You can generally find the scholarships page for a specific college/university by Googling "college/university name + scholarships" (e.g. "Gonzaga scholarships"). Reaching out to an admissions counselor or financial aid advisor is a great way to get more information about a specific institution.
