About Me: 

I grew up in Boise, Idaho with 4 siblings and 3 cats. I went to college in Boston, where I met my husband Michael. We now live in Ridgefield with our 18-month-old daughter. In my free time, I enjoy crossword puzzles, playing the ukulele and piano, video games, Dungeons & Dragons, going on (short) hikes, and trying local restaurants. 

My College/Career Journey:

I started as an English major at Northeastern University before switching to a major in Media Studies. After graduating with my B.A., I felt drawn to my initial dream of teaching English, and became a 6th grade Language Arts teacher on an alternative teaching license. Seeing the social-emotional challenges my students faced each day inspired me to go back to school to earn my M.A. in School Counseling.  This is my 3rd year as a licensed school counselor, and it is truly my dream job!
