Our department currently staffs 4 medic units (ambulances) 24/7 and 1 on shift duty Officer which roams the county in a fully equipped QRV(quick response vehicle). 

MEDIC 21: Located at 26314 Constitution Hwy, Rhoadesville, VA 22542 (Beside Edwards general store) this station is manned with one medic unit typically staffed with 2 personnel 24/7. These two people will cross staff Squad 21 (Fire engine with vehicle extrication capabilities) when a fire call comes out. When this happens the Medic unit is un-staffed until the personnel return from the call.

MEDIC 23: Located at 151 Berry Hill Road Orange, VA 22960 this ambulance is staffed typically with two people and serves the town of Orange as its first due. 

MEDIC 25: Located at 5251 Spotswood Trail, Barboursville, VA 22923 this ambulance unit serves the citizens of Barboursville and Gordonsville.

MEDIC 29: Located at 104 Lakeview Pkwy, Locust Grove, VA 22508 in the Lake of the Woods Fire department. This unit is usually staffed with two people. This unit also cross staffs Engine 29 Monday-Friday 6A-6P.

DUTY OFFICER 1: Located at 151 Berry Hill Road Orange, VA 22960 this unit serves as the roaming supervisor for the entire county and is posted in a QRV (quick response vehicle) typically a pick up truck fully equipped with ALS first response capabilities.
