Fall 2023

ONE MONTH, THREE CONFERENCES

For the very first time in KYSCA history, we hosted THREE conferences in the month of October. Thanks to the help from the executive council, KYSCA Board of Directors, student council advisors across the commonwealth, faculty at the host schools, and our amazing members, we were able to make history.

MUHLENBERG, OCT. 19TH

Conference number one was hosted by Muhlenberg County High School in Muhlenberg, KY, marking the very first western conference held by KYSCA. Thank you to all of the member schools who attended, the student council and faculty at MCHS who aided with the conference, and Bella Wayne (KYSCA Executive Council Member and MCHS student) for leading the planning and executing of this conference!

GREENUP, OCT. 24TH

Conference number two was hosted by Greenup County High School in Greenup County, KY. It was a very impactful conference with two guest speakers, Marshall Tyson and Angel Logan, talking about the importance of young leaders and the empowerment of others. KYSCA extends a huge thanks to all of the member schools in attendance, the student council and faculty at GCHS who aided with the conference, and Addi Hogsten (KYSCA Executive Council Member and GCHS student) for the leading and execution of conference number two!

RYLE, OCT. 27TH

Conference number three was hosted by Ryle County High School at Northern Kentucky University in Campbell County, KY. It was the largest of the three conferences, with over a hundred members in attendance. Thank you to all of the member schools in attendance, the student council and faculty at RCHS and NKU who aided with the conference, RCHS Student Council, and KYSCA Executive Council Members Emma Adelman, Isabella Burke, and Hannah Engel for planning and executing our largest conference!
