Welcome Message
We are delighted to announce that we will hold the ITMAT Kyoto University International Symposium entitled “Biology of Human Diseases Comes of Age” at the Kyoto University. This symposium, delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, is held in collaboration with the Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics (ITMAT) at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
This symposium is the first time that the Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics (ITMAT) at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine will hold its international symposium on translational research in Asia. It was originally scheduled to be held in 2020, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. We are finally in a situation where we can hold an international symposium face-to-face, and we are looking forward to it.
The meeting will provide ample opportunity for discussion and interaction with the speakers and the broad topical palate makes it likely that all attendees will be challenged by novel concepts, approaches, and technologies.
We are delighted that this important meeting will take place in the august setting of the University of Kyoto and welcome you to come and join us in Kyoto at such a wonderful time of the year.
