FOR INTERESTED PARTNERS: AN INVITATION TO INVEST IN TRANSITIONAL JUSTICE
This conference represents a rare convergence: a historic anniversary, a transformed political moment, and an urgent generational demand for justice. It brings together conflict survivors, youth activists, legal practitioners, civil society organisations, academics and policymakers in a setting designed to produce not only knowledge but action.
The window for justice does not stay open indefinitely. This is a moment to invest in the possibility of a different future for Nepal’s conflict-affected communities, one that is built on truth, dignity and the active leadership of those who have waited longest for both.
Your partnership will enable:
Participation grants for conflict-affected victims and survivor leaders covering travel, accommodation and psychosocial support for those who could not otherwise attend.
Dedicated Gen Z and youth-led sessions ensuring the next generation of advocates has a genuine voice in shaping the conference’s outcomes and the field’s future.
Fully bilingual programming ensuring the conference is accessible to Nepali-speaking participants from across the country, including from rural and conflict-affected communities.
A peer-reviewed edited volume and open-access policy brief disseminating findings to national and international audiences and contributing to the global TJ knowledge base.
International comparative perspectives with the participation of scholars and practitioners from other transitional justice contexts whose experience can directly inform Nepal’s choices.
MHPSS and wellbeing support for survivor participants recognising that engagement with traumatic history requires professional psychosocial accompaniment, not only logistical provision.
