Ahmad Helmi

Ahmad Helmi is an Syrian activist and survivor of the Assad Regime. Ahmad founded a survivor led organisation, Ta’afi in Gaziantep with the aim of supporting victims and survivors of torture and enforced disappearance, campaigning for justice and accountability. He is a leading voice for  Syrian victims and transitional justice advocacy in the region. He is one of the founding members and a board member of INOVAS.
