Kapolei High School
Ho‛ōla Natural Resources Academy is about fostering "the leader" in each and every student.
Hawaiian cultural values are incorporated into this academy which gives students with Native Hawaiian ancestry (as well as those without) a foundation of what it means to have kuleana to care for others as well as the ʻĀina.

I grew up in Kahalu'u. I expect my students to be able to learn and practice positive and active stewardship of their 'aina, their community, and their families. I also expect them to be leaders with caring, dignity, and integrity. Lastly, I hope that they leave Ho'ola ready to love the life they live and live the life they love.
Fun Fact: My first teaching job was Water Safety Instructor.

Talofa! I am from American Samoa where I was born and raised. I’m very passionate when it comes to teaching especially in the field of Science. I’ve been teaching for 10 years in American Samoa as a high school Science teacher. This is my first year in Kapolei High and I am loving the experience I share with colleagues and my students. Students are expected to explore and have fun while learning about themselves and their surroundings. Science is everywhere around them and they should appreciate the things that happens around them.
