Students had an amazing opportunity to join an alaka'i program, allowing them to  meet with kumu from Moanalaua Gardens Foundation, learn more about Kamananui Valley during class time, and go on two field trips out on the trail. This experience gave them a chance to understand the mo'olelo of the place they visited.
