IPv6-based Campus Area Network Design and Implementation in KUET

Duration: December 2022 – May 2023

Aim: The aim of the project is to design and implement an IPv6-based Campus Area Network (CAN) at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET). The goal is to modernize the network infrastructure by transitioning to IPv6, ensuring scalability, improved connectivity, and support for emerging technologies.

Achievement: The project successfully designed and implemented an IPv6-based Campus Area Network in KUET. This achievement enhances network scalability and paves the way for the adoption of next-generation technologies. It ensures that KUET's network infrastructure is future-ready and capable of accommodating the growing demands of the academic community.


Eduroam deployment in KUET Campus Area Network for Students, Researchers, and Educators 

Duration: June 2021 – January 2023

Aim: The aim of the project is to implement and deploy the Eduroam Education Roaming (Eduroam) service within the Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) Campus Area Network. This deployment aims to provide secure and seamless wireless internet access to students, researchers, and educators, both within the institution and for visiting users from other educational and research institutions.

Achievement: The project successfully established the Eduroam service within the KUET Campus Area Network. As a result, students, researchers, and educators within the institution can now enjoy secure and convenient wireless internet access. Additionally, the deployment allows seamless connectivity for users visiting from other participating educational and research institutions, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing within the academic community.



Wireless Network Infrastructure Deployment for Student Halls in KUET 

Duration: January 2021 – March 2022

Aim: The aim of the project is to deploy a wireless network infrastructure in student halls at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET). This initiative seeks to provide reliable and high-speed wireless internet access to students residing in the halls, enhancing their connectivity and academic experience.

Achievement: The project successfully implemented a wireless network infrastructure in student halls at KUET. This achievement ensures that students have convenient and reliable access to the Internet within their living spaces, supporting their academic and personal needs. It contributes to enriched campus life and improved digital learning opportunities for the student community.



IoT-based Campus Area Networking Using Cisco Packet Tracer 

Duration: January 2021 – June 2021

Aim: The aim of the project is to create an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Campus Area Network (CAN) using Cisco Packet Tracer. The goal is to simulate and design a network that supports IoT devices and enables seamless communication and data exchange within a campus environment.

Achievement: The project successfully designed and implemented an IoT-based Campus Area Network using Cisco Packet Tracer. This achievement provides a valuable learning and testing environment for exploring IoT technologies and their applications within a campus setting. It facilitates experimentation with IoT devices and networking configurations, contributing to enhanced educational opportunities in the field of IoT networking.
