ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

PROCESS AND RULES

The competition is open to individuals or teams of up to four (4) members with an advisor. There are two rounds in the competition: the ideation round and the final round. In the ideation round, participants are required to submit their ideas in our online system before 30 November 2023. 

The new ideas of the "tangible product" are then evaluated by the jurors and selected for the final round. The final round is also scheduled to be held online on 17-18 January 2024, where the finalists of eight teams have to create a three-minute video presentation and answer questions from the jurors. There are two awards in each group and category: the winner and the runner-up.

CRITERIA

The evaluation will be based on four key criteria:

CREATIVITY The idea should be new, original, inspiring and valuable. The solution should be unique and practical.

BCG: The idea should align with the Bio-Circular-Green concept. Please refer to the BCG definition.

IMPACT: The idea should create a positive impact, reduce the effect of problems, or solve the current situation with the highest degree of change.

POSSIBILITY: This is a reality check. The idea should be achievable with existing technologies or in the near future.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• All submissions must be original. 

• Works previously sent to other competitions will not be accepted.

• Submissions may not be displayed publicly without the agreement of the contest organizer.

• Submitted works shall be displayed publicly by the organizer. 

• The organizer shall not be held responsible for any expenses for submitted works. 

• The organizer shall reject submitted works that: 1) fail to comply with the laws in Thailand; 2) infringe upon or violate the intellectual property rights of any third party; 3) are out of scope; 4) include immoral or discriminatory expressions, cause the feeling of disgust, or undermine public order; 5) include any advertisement, publicity, sales activity or commercial message; and 6) are considerably inappropriate by the jurors.
