Autonomous Aerial Vehicle Challenge 2023

18-21 JUL 2023 Wangchan Valley, Rayong, Thailand

Kasetsart University is honored to be the host for 2023 Autonomous Aerial Vehicle Challenge (AAVC2023). As set by the Consortium of Aerospace Engineering Thailand, the aim of AAVC challenges is to encourage the participant teams (focusing primarily, but not exclusively, for aerospace engineering student major) to demonstrate the ability to implement both technical knowledge and operational expertise to solve the real-world problem in form of simulated operation scenario. Using the relevant discipline (aero/mechanical, electrical, computer science, etc.), each participant team will develop their own autonomous aerial vehicles system or unmanned aircraft systems (UAVs / UASs) capable of performing the specific task according to the operational parameters derived from the assigned scenario as well as the expected operational effectiveness scoring matrix. The participating team members will then combine their operational expertise, teamwork, and decision making to operates their developed system to complete the task under a certain rules and restrictions.
