Privacy Policy for HeicDrop

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how HeicDrop ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with your use of the HeicDrop iOS application (the "App").

1. No Collection of Personal Information

HeicDrop is designed to respect your privacy. The App is provided completely free of charge and does not require you to create an account or log in. We do not collect, store, or have access to any of your personal information.

2. On-Device File Conversion

All file conversion processes performed by HeicDrop occur exclusively on your device. The images you select for conversion are not uploaded to any remote server or cloud service. The entire conversion process from HEIC to your chosen format (JPEG, PNG, or PDF) is handled locally on your iPhone or iPad.

3. Local Storage of Converted Files

After an image is converted, the new file is stored locally on your device in the App's designated history section. You have full control over these files. They remain on your device until you choose to delete them from the App's history. Deleting a file from the history permanently removes it from the App's storage on your device.

4. No User Tracking or Analytics

HeicDrop does not use any cookies, tracking technologies, or third-party analytics services to monitor your behavior within the App. We do not collect any data about how you use the App, the features you interact with, or the frequency of your conversions.

5. App Permissions

The App will request your permission to access your photo library. This permission is necessary for you to select the HEIC images you wish to convert. The App only accesses the specific images you choose and does not scan your entire photo library.

6. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the App does not collect any personal information at all, it is safe for use by all ages.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
