Every Friday is a DEAR day in class. DEAR stands for Drop Everything and Read, where students can bring a book, eBook, or audiobook of their choice to read for the class period. Reading for pleasure has scientifically proven benefits that extend beyond the classroom walls. Below are links to articles/studies for your reference!
