Brgy. Anib Sipocot, Camarines Sur |January 24, 2025
The KTLA Library, in collaboration with the Student Government Organization, holds an Outreach Program for the EL Niño Development Center at Barangay Anib. The outreach objective is to promote a love for reading among our young learners.
It was a sunny morning when the KTLA team went to Brgy. Anib was welcomed by these young learners with a smile, seeing how excited they were. The excitement was palpable as the program began, and the SGO officers took charge, facilitating an engaging and interactive storytelling session that captivated the children’s attention.
In addition to the fun activities of the SGO Officers, the library donated 38 titles of picture books specifically chosen to inspire and cultivate the interests of our young learners. School supplies were also distributed to each student.
Ms. Jocelyn Presbitibo, the daycare teacher, took the stage to express her gratitude and shared a brief message, thanking the KTLA Community for selecting them as recipients.
A heartfelt surprise came when the community students performed a song for the visitors, showcasing their gratitude and enthusiasm. The event was concluded with a memorable photo opportunity that captured the joy and excitement of the day.
It was a touching event that emphasized the impact of reading and the generosity of giving.
