I received my MA in English Language and Literature at Tabriz Azad University in 2016. I did a BA in English language and literature at Tabriz Azad University in 2008.
I have been an assistant lecturer at Kurdistan Technical Institute-Sulaimani (KTI) since 2019, which is a private institute affiliated with the ministry of higher education and scientific research. In addition to that, I used to be an instructor at Cihan University-Sulaimani (2017-2018) and Cihan University-Erbil (2018-2019).
I have been a member of the editorial board of Tawar magazine, a feminist magazine based in Sulaimani, since 2023. I am the translator from Kurdish into English and vice versa. I have translated several English essays into Kurdish.
My research interests are focused on English literature, Kurdish literature, literary criticism, comparative literary criticism, gender studies, women's studies, feminism and womanism, intersectionality, and Kurdish feminism.
