I have obtained my M.Sc. in Food Science and Biotechnology at School of Health Science at Cardiff Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom in 2014. I have also received my B.Sc. in Crop Science at University of Sulaimani in 2011. 

I have been working since my graduation both in the United Kingdom and in Kurdistan as well. First, I have been working as research assistant at my University in the UK, and later in 2018, I have worked at Sulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU) research center as co-ordinator. Moreover, I have been teaching 2019-2020 academic year at Bakrajo technical institute at Quality control and quality assurance department. 

Furthermore, I have worked part-time as a visiting lecturer at Kurdistan Technical Institute (KTI) back in 2019-2020, and then I have been employed full-time at pharmacy department at Kurdistan Technical Institute (KTI) as assistant lecturer from 2020-2021 and continue working here. I am currently teaching a number of modules for a number of department at KTI. I am teaching Pharmacognosy, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry modules at pharmacy department and also teaching Nutrition and Diet Therapy module at nursing department. 

I have been involved in a number of committees that help in both scientific and administrative input in the KTI environment. I am currently a head of health and safety committee of the KTI. in this position, I am responsible for the safety and health awareness for the students and staffs in the KTI.

Also, I have been a member of the exam committee during 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 academic years. 

My research currently focusing on health hazard awareness and food safety measures from eating various food in the University community including both students and lecturers.
