Meet the Team!
Our passionate and dedicated team is here to inspire, support, and uplift every dancer, encouraging them to move with confidence, express themselves freely, and dance beyond boundaries.
Miss Kailie
Studio Owner, Dance Teacher
What is your dance experience? I've been dancing for 10 years and 2026 will be my 5th year of teaching.
What do you love most about teaching dance? Watching my students grow, not only in technique, but in confidence. I love seeing them develop alongside peers that build them up, within a studio environment where they feel safe, supported and truley at home.
What is something you focus most on in your classes? I place a strong focus on technique over tricks or skills. I believe that clean, polished foundations create confident danccers who are always on the same age. Safety is always a priority, but above all, I want my students to genuinely enjoy dancing and leave each class feeling proud of themselves.
What is your favourite part about being part of the KTDA Team? Working alongside people who care just as deeply as I do. We are a united team who share one clear vision: to create a space where dancers feel confident, supported and empowered to dance beyond boundaries.
What is something you enjoy outside of teaching dance? I love spending time with my family and friends, being with my partner, and going for walks. These moments help me reset, clear my mind, and come back feeling refreshed and inspired.

What is your dance experience? I've been dancing for 17 years and teaching for 6 years now.
What do you love most about teaching dance? What I love most about teaching is sharing my passion for dance and watching it grow in my students, seeing their excitement and confidence blossom is truly the best part of the job.
What is something you focus most on in your classes? In my classes, I focus on technique and musicality but above all, I want every student to have fun and develop a genuine love for dance.
What is your favourite part about being part of the KTDA Team? Being a part of the KTDA team feels like being a part of a family.
What is something you enjoy outside of teaching dance? Outside of the studio, I enjoy taking time for myself, whether that's relaxing, exploring new hobbies, or simply enjoying the little things in life.
Miss KJ
Community Support Coordinator, Dance Teacher
What is your dance experience? I've been dancing for 17 years and coming up on my 5th year of teaching.
What do you love most about teaching dance? Watching students grow, not just in skill, but in confidence. Seeing them overcome challenges, believe in themselves the same way I believe in them and feel proud of what they achieve is incredibly rewarding. I love creating a space where dancers feel supported, inspired, and excited to come to every week.
What is something you focus most on in your classes? Confidence, technique, improvement and overall enjoyment.
What is your favourite part about being part of the KTDA Team? Our team just makes sense. We all fall so perfectly into place with one another and it created the beautiful foundation for a perfect team to ensure the best dance experience for every student.
What is something you enjoy outside of teaching dance? When I'm not in the studio, you'll find me on a long walk by the beach with a coffee, at the gym, prioritising time with friends, or at my other amazing job where I take care of beautiful patients in a high needs home.
Miss Stephanie
Dance Teacher
What is your dance experience? I began dancing at just two and a half years old, and by the age of nine I knew ballet would be my career. At 15, I won the City of Sydney McDonald’s Ballet Scholarship, earned my RAD Solo Seal, and was awarded a scholarship to the prestigious Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung Ballet Academy in Munich, Germany.
Within a week of arriving in Munich, I was selected to perform with the Bayerisches Staatsballett in La Bayadère and Swan Lake. After two years of training at the school and performing with the company, I signed a full contract and went on to enjoy a 17-year professional career with the company.
Ballet—and dance more broadly—has shaped my life and continues to influence everything I do today.
What do you love most about teaching dance? I love finding new and creative ways to teach. For me, dance has always been about how movement feels, not just how it looks. My greatest reward is helping students truly experience a movement from within, rather than simply imitating the shape.
What is something you focus most on in your classes? I love using imagery in my teaching. The imagination is where the magic happens, and it is one of the most powerful tools for developing artistry, musicality, and movement. It’s a skill that extends far beyond the dance studio.
What is your favourite part about being part of the KTDA Team? I appreciate the team’s commitment to giving students more than just knowledge—they create an experience, positive and inspiring for the students. I recognise this approach from my own wonderful teachers, whose influence has stayed with me throughout my career.
What is something you enjoy outside of teaching dance?Alongside teaching ballet, I devote much of my time to my mindful movement practice, which has grown into my business, fluō movement, with studios in Lambton, Branxton and online. I have a curious nature and am always learning—whether it’s exploring new movement and therapeutic approaches and modalities. (My father often jokes that I collect certifications and qualifications.) I am currently completing my Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Auslan.
