SUC President III
As president, I affirm that external accreditation is a vital instrument of quality assurance. It confirms that our programs meet clear standards, strengthens public trust, and drives continuous improvement through independent review of curriculum, learning outcomes, research, extension, and student services. Accreditation is not a compliance exercise but a disciplined way for us to measure ourselves, learn, and improve.I am committed to submitting all programs to recognized accrediting bodies such as AACCUP, allocating the time, people, and resources required, opening our processes to rigorous review, and acting on every recommendation with specific actions and timelines. We will integrate findings into planning and budgeting, report results to stakeholders, and use them to enhance teaching and learning, faculty development, facilities, and student support, making accreditation central to our governance and service delivery.
