Class Description: This course is an advanced foods class designed to further the knowledge of food and to understand some of the problems associated with foods. Some of the areas studied include the composition of food, the importance of food in the body, the management of food resources, and a study of world foods. These areas of study are applied through practical food laboratory experiences.
