The Marketing class is full-year course that offers students instruction in fundamental skills and concepts necessary for success in careers related to marketing. Work-based learning can be combined with the Marketing class to allow the student to earn an additional 1 unit of elective credit.
Classroom instruction will include lessons in economics, competition, supply and demand, business cycles, consumer behavior, marketing concepts, channels of distribution, personal selling, advertising and promotion, physical distribution, pricing, inventory control, product planning, and free enterprise.
