Marketing Internship

Marketing Internship allows students to receive credit toward graduation while gaining experience in the workforce. Academic study is combined with paid, supervised employment in a career area of interest. The employment is planned and supervised by the school in cooperation with a business or industry. A formalized agreement between all cooperating parties specifies the role each is to play as part of the program. Credit is awarded for the classroom instruction and for the on-the-job experience in compliance with established policies.The program is open to high school juniors and seniors as a practical arts elective.

The following are goals for the Marketing Internship Program.

1. Development of occupational competence.

2. Development of higher level, transferable knowledge and skills related to careers.

3. Development of core academic skills through application in the workplace.

4. Development of career knowledge and awareness.

Job Placement Form All students must complete this document before any hours can be counted. If any job information alert Mrs. Remely and make changes to your responses.

Training Agreement This document must be completed by the student, parents, and work site supervisor. It will be a binding document for all parties. It will be kept on file for the length of student employment.

Marketing Internship Due Dates All dates and assignments are listed on this document. You are responsible to hand in assignments when they are due.

Wage and Hour Sheet This form must be completed and placed in your binder monthly in order to receive credit for hours worked.
