Our Kaunaloa Canvas course is designed to guide students through the dual credit journey, offering resources, structured support, and valuable insights into the program’s expectations. This course is divided into modules that support students both in preparing for and participating in the Kaunaloa program.
To begin, students interested in the Kaunaloa program should complete the Kaunaloa Interest Form. Once submitted, you’ll be added to the Kaunaloa Canvas course, where you’ll have access to all necessary resources and guidance for the application process.

Modules 1-3: These initial modules are required for all prospective Kaunaloa students. They introduce the program, guide you in aligning your career and academic goals (Match & Fit), and walk you through the Student & Parent Agreement process.
Module 1: Introduction to the Kaunaloa Program
Module 2: Kaunaloa Match & Fit – Upload Student & Parent Agreement
Module 3: Partner Program Modules– Application Completion
Modules 4-6: Once admitted into the program, students will continue with these modules to support their Kaunaloa experience, focusing on study skills, peer support systems, and pathways for success.
Module 4: Time Management & Study Skills
Module 5: Kākoʻo Kaunaloa Support Systems – Mandatory Advising & Peer Support
Module 6: Progress Tracking & Program Completion
To apply, complete Modules 1-3 and submit the Kaunaloa Course Request Form by the specified priority or regular deadline.
Priority deadline is April 1 or November 1
Regular deadline is May 1 or December 1
