How to Get a Loaner Laptop
1. ASK YOUR KUMU FOR A LOANER
Let your teacher know your laptop is not working and that you've gone through the options available on the HPK site. You may use the Kumu loaner in your classroom for now, but that loaner need to stay in your Kumu's classroom.
2. LOANER INSTRUCTIONS
It is your responsibility to come to HPK to get a loaner to take home. Bring your laptop to the HPK Office (CRBLC). You can report the issue to the designated HPK Kumu, and they can help issue you a temporary laptop.
Set Up Your Loaner Laptop
(if you need kōkua with this, please ask your kumu for help)
1. BACK-UP YOUR DATA
If you are able, upload any of your saved work to Google Drive.
2. LOG-IN
Log-in to your laptop using your username that starts with H.
3. GLOBAL PROTECT
Log-in to Global Protect with your username that starts wth H.
Note - if the laptop freezes at this step, or if you get a “still working” message please restart your computer and try again.
4. CONNECTED
Make sure you are connected to Global Protect.
Note - if you are not connected to Global Protect, you will not be able to access the internet at home.
