Krewe of Comogo Foundation Mission Statement

Our mission is to bring the community together by organizing an annual Mardi Gras Parade in loving memory of Brenda Comeaux. Through this vibrant celebration, we honor Brenda’s legacy, foster unity and joy, and create lasting traditions that enrich the spirit of our community for generations to come. A special float was designed to honor Brenda, celebrating her contributions and impact on our community. Additionally, an aircraft carrier float was created to pay tribute to our local veterans, recognizing their service and dedication. Our foundation also sponsors a Mardi Gras parade for the Children’s Hospital, bringing joy and festivities to young patients and their families. Furthermore, in partnership with the local organization ‘We Are the Difference’, we host a Christmas parade known as the Polar Express, further strengthening our commitment to community celebration and togetherness.

This foundation enables local businesses and generous donors to support its mission through tax-deductible contributions, strengthening the spirit of giving and ensuring the continuation of these cherished community traditions.
