Introducing the New High School Math Teacher
Mr. Horst Baelz
My name is Horst Baelz, and I was born and raised in Nuremberg, Germany, 200km north of Munich. I studied Mechanical Engineering in my hometown before emigrating to Australia. Later travels brought me to Thailand where I not only discovered my love for teaching but also the love of my life. I went back to university to get my teaching degrees, and have been teaching in Bangkok since the early 90s. Our son is an engineer with a high-tech company in the Netherlands. My wife and I love the Thai jungle and spend as much time in the wilderness as possible. Alternatively, we tend to our garden, where we do our part to improve Bangkok’s air. I am a cat person who also likes dogs. I am teaching Mathematics at KPIS but do know my way around Physics as well.
Please welcome him to our KPIS Family!
Thank You Dr. Shakira
Dr. Shakira is leaving KPIS and moving on to personal opportunities that she is excited about.
We wish her all the best.
