Be sure your child's district google account is the only google account signed in to Chrome and Google Classroom when trying to turn in any work.
If you share a device with others in your household, be sure to sign everyone else out so that your district google account is the only one signed in & active.
iPad/iOS devices may require you to add District Google account to the device and download /install Google Classroom and Google Meet apps in order to work properly.
Assignments that have a doc or attachment provided by your teacher that you click to open and work on, will have a “Turn In” button (NOT Share) in the upper right corner that you click on to submit your work. If using a mobile/cell phone to complete a google doc assignment, be sure to have BOTH Google Classroom and Google Doc app installed to prevent work being submitted as a PDF.
If the assignment instructions require you to add or create something, you need click on the +ADD or create button to create the work in Google or to attach an image of your work in order to turn something in as an attachment. Don’t forget to click on the Turn in button after you have added or created work for the assignment so the teacher receives the attached work you are submitting.
If the assignment is a Google Form or consists of an activity linked to a website or program outside of classroom like flipgrid, enVisionMath etc., you will click on the form or activity link provided within the assignment to complete in that particular program itself. After you submit the form/quiz or complete the activity, you need to come back to your classroom assignment and Mark as Done.
If you continue to have difficulty turning in assignments through Google Classroom visit the following links to get support on a Computer, Android Tablet/Device and iOS/iPad Device.
