Dr. Sang-Chul Kim is Professor in the School of Computer Science at Kookmin University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, since March 2006.
He received the Ph.D. degree in the department of Computer Engineering from the Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma, U.S.A. in 2005.
He was a professor in Samsung Electronics Institute Technology from 2017 to 2019, a Software Engineer in Samsung SDS and Aerospace from 1994 to 2000 and was a professor in the school of Computer Science at the Changwon National University from 1998 to 1999.
His research is in the areas of Intelligent Mobile Network, Human-being related Machine Learning, Blockchain, and Internet of Things.

He is a life member of the Korean Institute of Communication and Information Sciences (KICS) and the Korean Society for Internet Information (KSII).
In April 2015, he was nominated as one of the outstanding scholars in the release of the 2016 33rd edition of "Marquis Who's Who in the World 2016".
In addition, he was listed on the "2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century, 2016 Edition (10th Edition)" issued by the International Biographical Center in Cambridge, United Kingdom.
