Peer Challenge 101

Every day you can send or accept up to 3 peer challenges in total.

You can either

• challenge a friend from your school, or

• start a peer challenge with a random KooBits user, or

• accept a peer challenge from a friend

You will earn challenge points (CPs) based on your performance in the results.

* A pending peer challenges expires in 3 days after sending, unless it's within the last 3 days of a season or a term.

* All pending peer challenges will expire by the last day of each season, or the last day of each term*, or the day before a new term starts*, which of 2020 is:

- 1st January (before Term 1, SG only ),

- 28th Feb (last day of Term 1 Scoring Period, SG only ),

- 22nd March (before Term 2, SG only ),

- 31st March (last day of Season 1),

- 15th May (last day of Term 2 Scoring Period, SG only ),

- 28th June (before Term 3, SG only ),

- 30th June (last day of Season 2),

- 21st August (last day of Term 3 Scoring Period, SG only ),

- 13th September (before Term 4, SG only ),

- 30th September (last day of Season 3),

- 30th October (last day of Term 4 Scoring Period, SG only ), and

- 31st December (last day of Season 4), regardless of original challenge date.

You'll earn the points according to correct answers upon expiration.

* For Singapore schools only.

The challenge points (CPs) you can earn in a peer challenge depends on your performance in the final result.

Here, you will be able to view your entire challenge history (sent and received) for the past 3 months alongside the total challenge points you have earned for each challenge.

- For Challenges from me, the Date is the day peer challenge you sent;

- For Challenges from friends, the Date is:

-- the day the challenge your opponent sent, if not responded yet; or

-- the day you respond to the challenge, if already responded;

- CP earned may not be on the same day as peer challenge sent. So it's advised to check Challenge Points History for details of points earned.

Peer Challenge Expiry

A pending peer challenges expires in 3 days from the day the Challenges are sent, unless it's within the last 3 days of a season or term*.

You'll earn the points according to correct answers upon expiration. Your earned points will be added as at 6am of the expiry date.

* All pending peer challenges will expire by the last day each season, or the last day of each term, or the day before a new term starts, regardless of original challenge date. You can check details of those dates here.
