At KMMS I have the privilege of teaching 7th-grade English! I have been working at KMMS since the 2021-2022 School year. I received tenure May of 2024. The best part of being a KoMet are all of the amazing people I get to build relationships with. I get to work with some of the best teachers and most amazing students.
In addition to teaching 7th grade English, I serve as one of the two Student Council advisors. I relish the opportunity to help foster a school culture of inclusivity and positivity—go KoMets!
As a teacher I emphasize embracing challenges and celebrating growth. Through reading, writing, and discussing complex texts I hope that students can see how learning about the perspectives of others can develop their own perspective.
