My Family

My husband, Tim, and I have two incredible little humans - Becca and Jo.  Tim is a farmer and we love spending time as a family on the farm - riding in the fields, helping care for the cattle, and always learning!  

Becca is 6 and in 1st Grade.  She is super creative - always doing art projects, singing, dancing, and thinking about fashion.  Jo is our fearless explorer.  She loves time outside, books, and music!

My Experience

One of my strengths is Learner - it plays heavily into my professional experience!  I love exploring new positions and accepting the challenges that come with new roles!  Because of this, I've gotten to do some really fun things during my 12 years in education!

My Favorite Author(s)

I love to read!  My favorite genre as an adult reader is personal development - nonfiction books that make me think about how to be the best version of me I can be.  Books that are encouraging and inspiring!  One of my favorite authors of this genre is Emily Ley.  I got to meet her during the summer of 2022!

I also am a BIG fan of children's books!  (Of course!) A few of my favorite authors are Kobi Yamada (What Do You Do with an Idea?) and Peter H. Reynolds (The Dot).  I love that both of them write books that celebrate the uniqueness of each person and encourage readers to be creative problem-solvers!

My Family

My husband and I live in Kasson with our 8 year old daughter, Marlee, and our 5 year old son, Brecken.  My husband is a 3rd grade teacher and the Internal Math Coach for KMES.  This is my 6th year at K-M.  I enjoy spending time with my family, being outside (as long as it's not too hot!), singing/playing music, theater, reading, going on adventures, and baking!
