School Readiness Preschool
School Readiness programs help to prepare children for Kindergarten through a comprehensive program, aligned with state early childhood guidelines and Kindergarten standards, and based on early childhood research. Programs address children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, and promote early literacy skills.
Our School Readiness Preschool programs are a continuum of services that allow children 3 years old to kindergarten enrollment to participate in early childhood programs. Our services enable them to enter school with the skills and behavior needed for them to progress and flourish.
All classes are 2 hours and 30 minutes. Children must be potty-trained to attend any of these School Readiness Preschool programs.

KoMet Kids (3 & 4 years old)
KoMet Kids is a preliminary school readiness preschool program. The goals are to help children learn social and self-help skills, and encourage their creativity through interactive play. The curriculum is centered around five key domains that have been shown to be most predictive of kindergarten readiness: oral language development, phonological awareness, alphabet knowledge, mathematics, and social-emotional development. The domains are taught through music, brain stimulating activities, stories, and free play. KoMet Kids class is for children who have turned 3 by September 1, 2024 (usually 2 years before kindergarten).

Heggerty Curriculum!
Phonemic awareness is the ability to understand that spoken words are made up of individual sounds called phonemes, and it's one of the best early predictors for reading success. Heggerty Pre-Kindergarten is easily implemented in preschool programs. Lessons are taught consistently each day with explicit teacher modeling and scaffolded support. Your students’ reading, spelling, and writing, will improve as the students learn to hear the sounds in words. This curriculum is aligned with Kasson-Mantorville Elementary school.
