Twana A.Tahir
Short Bio
Twana A. Tahir is a PhD. holder in Sustainable Development/Rural Water Management from University of Sulaimani. He finished his master's in Technology (Environmental Management) from the University of Malaya in Malaysia in 2012. He has done some research in this field and contributed to many university activities related to his area of specialty. His areas of interest include Sustainable Development, Solid Waste Management, and Environmental Health and Safety. He is also an International Certified Teacher Trainer for Innovative Pedagogy (2019) at HAMK University of Applied Science in Finland, a certified (OSHAcademy) member, and a member of (Global Ambassadors of Sustainability).
Academic Philosophy
Student must be in the center of any learning process.
Teacher should be a facilitator.
Life-long learning should be one of the main outcomes of the education system of any University.
The spirit of " Being an Active Citizen" should be promoted inside every individual students.
Critical Thinking and Professional Ethics should reflect in the University Learning Outcomes.
