GrAInY STORIES THAT MOVE

The international Granary is the results of the collaboration within the international mixed teams. Each teacher coordinator has created a summary of their international team with their class. Students and each teacher chose meaningful parts of the task that took place in the tematic international forum threads to create the summary so that the students could create the final of product of each each.

We seeded some more grains following the advice provided by people elder than ourselves. Here ‘GRANNY’ is a symbol of the older generations so students could interview their grandparents but also any other adults (neighbours, other elder relatives, etc).

Each international team organised the task in three steps in the FORUM.

1. Research about the topic by visiting some pages and answering some questions in the FORUM.

• European and FRIENDS' MUSIC: Visit the Music Moves Europe Awards (MME Awards) page. MME is the EU prize for emerging European artists. Students discuss about the awarded /nominees.

• European and FRIENDS' SPORTS: Visit the Sports in Europe 2024 interactive publication and check the information and the annual European Week of Sport - 2024 edition  available on the page. 

• European & FRIENDS' FASHION:Visit resources, articles, or publications about the revival of traditional European fashion and its role in modern design

• European & FRIENDS' DIGITAL WORLD:Visit the Digitalisation in Europe – 2024 edition interactive publication and check the information provided in the article. Also, take the Test Your Knowledge quiz on online shopping available on the page.

• European and FRIENDS' ARTS AND CRAFTS: Visit the page of ten of the most outstanding Art Museums in Europe. The European Artistic Craft Days are taking place between 2 and 7 April 2024. The 18th edition’s theme, “Little fingers, expert hands” invites people of all ages to immerse themselves in the world of crafts. This year’s edition will shine a spotlight on Portugal and its heritage of craftsmanship.  Visit the page.

• European and FRIENDS' EQUALITY: Explore the topic of Equality by researching current trends, challenges, and advancements. You can also look for resources such as reports, news articles, or interactive publications on the topic of equality (e.g., gender equality or social inclusion). 2. Interviews about the international topic to older generations.

3. Interaction by commenting the entries of their partners.
