9:00am - School open

10.00am 

• Animal Judging begins 

• Garden Judging (Friday 1st November)

• Classrooms open for viewing

12.00pm 

• Prize giving 

• Champion animals

• Cake auction

June

•Ag day information sent home•

•Chickens ordered and picked up 

July

•1st July – Calves, lambs and goats must be born on or after this date. Contact school if you need help locating an animal.

August/Term 3

•Lamb and kid day care open at school

•Early August. Editable gardens should be planned and planted

•Early August. Ag Day info assembly held at school.

•12th August - Chicken orders close. These must be ordered via School

•31st August - Chickens must be collected from school at 3pm

•Mid August – Themed gardens should be planted.

•Late August - Animal and garden registration forms sent out. Due back by 15th September.

September

•Animal rearing/leading/calling tutorial held at school.

•Get in touch with vets about vaccines and/or drenches for your animals – Northland Vets and Kamo Vets are good options.

•Late September. Craft-making day activities list sent home.

October/Term4

•Over the holiday break and first week back. Collect materials for craft making day. See list.

•Friday 13th End of week 1. Ad Day craft making day at school

•Friday 13th. Bring in gardens for judging.

•Saturday 14th Ag Day.
