Data Strategy: Identifying actionable milestones that provide immediate value while paving the way for your long term vision.
Data Management & Governance: Which data sets will be needed? How will this data be acquired? What data standards will be used to improve interoperability? How will data need to be transformed to align with these standards? How will metadata be generated, maintained, and made available to stakeholders? What is possible under current data sharing agreements? How and when might these need to evolve? How is data stored and transferred? Who makes decisions and documents these decisions within your organization? How should the answers to these questions align with your data strategy?
Data Analytics: This work is as much about the questions you ask as it is about the metrics that will allow you to answer these questions. What are your hypotheses around the impact you seek to achieve? This work will design, implement and evaluate the results of quick, nimble data analysis pilots to confirm assumptions, test hypotheses, and develop an actionable plan to scale impact.
Data Collaboration: All of the above activities can be extended across ecosystems of stakeholders for added impact and efficiency. Will facilitate the identification and convening of a group of organizations that share technical resources and generate mutually-owned and collectively-governed data assets to achieve a common goal. This process can combine elements of data strategy, management, governance, and analytics.
