UPDATE ON LYNN
As many of you know, Lynn has not updated her position for quite some time. When a transmitter stops sending signals, it is most often due to damage, falling off, or running out of batteries. To ensure that you have a more active turtle to track, please find link below to track Lynn:

ABOUT LYNN
Lynn is a nesting leatherback and was originally satellite tagged as a neophyte (or new nester) in 2023 and laid five nests after her initial tagging encounter that year. Lynn is smaller than average for a leatherback, weighing ~640 pounds and measuring 69 inches in length. She was re-encountered in 2025 and had grown 2 inches in two years. Lynn left Florida in 2023 on May 28th and headed north to foraging areas off of Nova Scotia. An additional satellite transmitter was placed on her on Juno Beach in 2025 in an effort to better understand foraging site fidelity, or loyalty to areas where the turtles feed. Lynn has a large scar on her right shoulder that is characteristic of an interaction with a hook from a fishery.
