Olivia was first encountered nesting on Jupiter Carlin Beach on August 15, 2025. She had evidence of an old, healed boat strike to her carapace, or shell (which was 41 inches long), but that did not stop her from nesting! Olivia was outfitted with a satellite transmitter to better understand loggerhead nesting and movement patterns.
